My City

First off, I was born in Baltimore City at Johns Hopkins hospital. At age six my mom moved my siblings and me into Baltimore County for better schooling purposes.  When I was a young child in Baltimore County, my mom and my siblings and I moved around a lot among the county but always stayed on the east side. Now we’re living in Cedonia which is cool. I have friends and family here and I like my school and neighborhood.

What do you think Baltimore is best known for? I believe Baltimore is best known for the city and its huge downtown harbor, restaurants, music, and history and transportation. Baltimore is also known for coming together as a community. Baltimore has outstanding parades, block parties, and Festivals for the gay pride where people can express themselves freely by dancing, and dressing however they please, entertaining people with their modeling, bands playing music, and so on.

The Martin Luther King March is a tribute to him to show our appreciation of all races to live among one another equally. It is also to show respect for the life and work of the civil-rights leader. Further on, Baltimore is also known for its delicious foods such as chicken boxes, half & half’s, drinks and The Cheesecake Factory. Baltimore is recognized for its “Club Music” and popular clubs such as the Dubai and Melba’s. Baltimore is also big on its transportation such as trains, buses, and subways, history and the first marina.
